School Uniforms Rules and Regulations

A.  Students are expected to keep their appearance neat and tidy.  Uniforms must be neat and fit, not too wide, too long, or too narrow.

B. For Male Students

1. Hair length: Hair must be neat and short.

1.1  Hair end behind neck should not touch collar.

1.2  Hair on both sides should not touch earlobes, and hair on forehead should not touch eyebrows.

2. Accessories:

    No accessories are allowed, including ear pins. (Please refer to point 6 of Part D)

3. Belt:

    3.1  If necessary, only black leather belts can be worn, no cloth belts.

    3.2  Belt width should be 2.5 to 4 cm wide, and belt buckles should not be too large.

4. Pants:

    4.1  Length of trousers must not cover heels.

    4.2  Trousers should not cover more than two-thirds of shoe tops.

    4.3  Narrow pants are not allowed.

C. For Female Students

    1. Hair length:

       1.1   Long hair (when hair touches shoulders) must be plaited or tied up neatly with  hair clips or hair bands.

       1.2  Hair on the forehead should not be too long, hair clips should be used when hair touches eyebrows.

       1.3   Hair clips and hair bands must be in dark blue or black.

2. Accessories:

2.1   You can wear a pair of earrings of the same simple style and size within 0.8 cm in diameter, or a pair of colourless ear pins.

2.2   The earrings or ear pins must be on the ear beads, no pendants or dazzling earrings are allowed.

2.3   In addition to the above regulations, it is not encouraged to wear any accessories. (Please refer to point 9 of Part D)

D. Others

1.  Hair must not be tainted or dyed. Nails must be kept short, and clean without nail polish. 

2.  Only school prescribed jackets or windbreakers are allowed, no other outwears are allowed.

3.  When Cold Weather Warning is issued by the Observatory, students can wear the following:

• School sportswear
• Designated warm clothing (black or dark blue down jackets), plain in colour and simple in style. 
• School scarves are recommended.  Plain black or dark blue scarves, simple in style.

4.  Students must wear socks as designated.

5.  It is recommended to wear white underwear.

6.  If students need to wear accessories under special circumstances, parents must send in a written application with detailed reasons.  Students can wear the said accessories only after our principal's approval.

Remark:

1.  New and old school uniforms cannot be mixed.  Students can only wear a full set of new school uniform or a full set of old school uniform.

2.  Starting from School Year 2023/24, only new uniforms will be allowed.
