Dress code for Casual Wear Days

 

There is NO need to purchase new clothes for Casual Wear Days. Casual clothes must only be worn on Casual Wear Days. Students who dress casually without permission will be penalized. Students should note the following guidelines for the dress code.

 

1.

Clothes:

Comfortable, simple, neat, tidy and match the students' identities. E.g., T-shirts with sleeves, shirts, jackets etc.

2.

Skirts or shorts

Mini size clothing is inappropriate. Other prohibitions include see-through clothing, clothes with reflective materials, revealing clothes (e.g., sleeveless, low-cut tops). Tight pants or wide-leg pants are not recommended. Examples of appropriate clothing includes: jeans, long skirts and trousers.

3.

Hat

It is not recommended to wear hats, other than school caps or festive hats.

4.

Shoes

Sports shoes or leather shoes are satisfactory, but flip-flops or high heels is not allowed.

5.

Socks

Should be mainly white or unicolor.

6.

Hairstyle and appearance

The general rules of a school day apply, i.e., hair dyeing, makeup, nails, lipstick and accessories are not allowed.
