Student Performance & Activities/Inter-house Competitions

Inter-House Activity

There are four houses in Bui O Public School that make up our housing group system: Dolphin, Tiger, Tree Frog, and Koala. All students and teachers are allocated a house. The housing group system provides opportunities for students to organize activities, develop teamwork, and explore their strengths through Inter-house activities. Students of different grades can cooperate and support each other.

Each house has a captain and vice-captain, usually a senior student (P5/P6). They play leadership throughout various activities and promote the RED (respect, encourage, discipline) values.

Inter-house activities include academic, sports, art, and problem-solving activities. More specific examples of the past include the Beach Run, Eco-friendly Design Competitions, Sand Sculpture Competitions, Quiz Competition, and Board Game Competitions. Students can develop and explore their potential by exploring a range of activities. Many students develop extra motivation through competition, as they contribute to their house's points total.
